Panda Finished

Well, it may not be Day 4, but my little panda collage is finally finished! Christmas got in the way for a few days, but now that the holiday fun is almost over, I'm feeling a bit antsy about getting back to making art:) I really had a great time making this collage and definitely want to do some more of it, but right now I think I hear my pencils calling me!
This piece was trimmed down to a square format because I felt it had too much green; it also looks better in this cropped format, the yellow running off the page a bit. What do you think?

Oops, I wasn't done. How did you achieve the "furry" look?

Sandy, this is a wonderful collage! Yes, yes, the cropping was the magic, great composition. I would love to see it and see how you did the collage pieces. Just love him. Judy

Carola, I had so much fun doing this because I LOVE pretty paper--so now I have an excuse to buy it when I see it! I'm also telling all my friends to keep pretty paper for me. The furry part?--a decorative paper with fibers in it that I pulled apart making the edges look, well, furry!!! Thanks for your comments, I love to have you visit!

Judy, I'm thrilled you looked in! This is something completely new for me but I really think I like it, it's a very relaxing kind of work! Maybe I'll have an opportunity to see you soon and can show it to you--I'd love to hear your IRL comments:)

Hi Sandy, I saw your panda on Elizabeth's blog. I purchased the DVD, and am very inspired by it. I think it's going to take alot of practice on my part, but you captured it very well--I love it.
