The thing I like most about fall weather is the cool air and the leaves! I'm not sure how many pretty leaves there will be this fall because the heat of the summer dried everything out and many leaves have already fallen. I did find a few in the backyard that were very pretty; so I chose this one for a little drawing project. Just beginning on the background and continuing to add color in the leaf itself. Maybe this will spur me to post more regularly!!!!

Love the leaf! I just worked on leaves I had collected last year from my favorite tree in the yard. I am so ready for fall after the hot summer we had this year. How are the classes going?
Carola, I saw your leaves and they were lovely! I haven't had a chance to start another one; I collect them everyday and they curl up before I get started--maybe next week!
