I got really motivated last night and near finished my waterflower. I'm beginning to like the colors a lot, not as dark as I originally planned as it is a night flower. I do see a couple of things after seeing it on the screen so in a few days and a few tweaks, I will declare it finished!
I'd like to hear what you think, and feel free to make suggestions!

Sandy, I really like it! you had good drips there... :) I like the black lines below the flower, it's very neat and kind of abstract. GOOD JOB!
I like it a lot! Has an abstract feel to it. If the greens above the water would have been darker in color, would it give more an impression of night time? I really like the work you have done on the flower itself.
Carola, I almost gave up the night time idea because it was so dark; I could still change my mind:) If I take the blues up a little and only leave a little green area, it might look like a lily pad. I'm thinking...
