The big goal was to finish the zebra this week BUT even though it's begining to look better, I'm at a point where I can't lay down any more color on the stripes! Maybe I applied too much pressure too soon or it's just not the same as working on black paper. This would have been a better project if I had used black paper and put in the white stripes. This might be a good time to experiment with another medium on colored pencil.

I love this but would definitely encourage you to play with other media with the cps if you're not totally happy with it!

Thanks for your visit, Robin! This is certainly one of my longer drawing projects and I keep putting it aside for other things. My next thought is to add some brighter color to give it more interest--maybe give me some more interest in it, too!
